As the holiday season is upon us, we find ourselves reflecting on the past year and those who have helped to shape Jack & Jill School of Motoring. Once again, we’d like to take the opportunity to congratulate all of our students who have found driving test success in 2015 and Seasons Greetings to our students and business partners past and present.
We hope that 2015 has been just as memorable for you, your friends, colleagues and your loved ones as it has been for us. Have a very Merry Christmas and a fantastic New Year.
Holiday Driving Tips
- Prepare your car – have your car serviced and check that you’re prepared for emergencies with a blanket, torch and first aid kit.
- Prepare yourself – be rested before a long drive, plan the trip so you share the driving if possible and take regular breaks to avoid fatigue.
- If you plan to have an alcoholic drink – plan not to drive.
- If you have children in the car ensure they are in the appropriate travel seat and have sufficient restraints.
- If you’re travelling with pets make sure they are restrained – for everybody’s safety.
- Regularly check for weather updates for your planned route.
- Brush up on some good driving techniques.
- But most of all… STAY SAFE!
